Well what do you know today was a good day to go to the beach! We of course we had to look our absolute best.
Remy fueled up for our beach day with a massive pile of bacon.
Pinto was nowhere to be found but Tigre accompanied us.
We saw a lot of whales today, and for the first time that Dad could remember we also saw a pod of dolphins fishing just off the shore. Whales are a common sight in the waters off of our beach, but on some days they are much closer to shore and much more apparent. Spouts are the most often spotted sign, but we also see flukes, fin slapping, and very occasionally some breaching.
Remy and Dad had a water fight using the ketchup and mustard squirters that Mom acquired from the grocery store. They double as excellent tools for putting sauce on all of Remy's sandy beach recipes.
We dug a really big hole. Louie enjoyed the nice cool sand.
After seeing all those great big fish in the water (okay, okay, dolphins and whales aren't fish), we decided that the only logical dinner choice was sushi! We went back to Noah's rooftop restaurant for some excellent sashimi.
