Remy's Rad Road Trip 2022 pt. 11

Friday was our last day with Chris and Linnea, so we planned to spend the afternoon wine tasting in Paso Robles. But first Dad ha to wrap up working. Remy and Elisabet took on some early morning art projects while dad retreated back to the garage to finish up meetings.

After Mom finished her work, and Remy finished his painting, the ladies and Remy headed out early to make sure all the wine tasted okay before Chris and Dad arrived.
We reunited at Castoro Cellars and spent a lovely afternoon in their outdoor space. Of course there was wine, but we were also treated to a very charming host, some crackers, olive spread, and salami courtesy of Mom, and a huge bucket of blocks to play with. Remy used his blocks to build a garage for his trucks, and Elisabet used hers too build a bed. She even made a pillow out of leaves.
Elisabet had dance class at 5pm, so she left  early with Chris. The moms, Remy, and Dad stayed at the winery for a while longer, including performing minor surgery on an enormous splinter in Remy's finger. Once all wine related transactions had been completed we stopped in at a small cafe for flatbreads. The evening entertainment at the cafe was a comedy show but it started to tend in the direction of adults only so we headed out. It was also way past bedtime.
