Another work week kicked off for Mom and Dad. Dad has had an exceptionally busy few days of work thus far on the trip, and this week looked to be no exception. Connectivity was a big question going into the trip, and thus far we've been very fortunate. The three RV parks we've stayed at while working have all had WIFI available, and the connection speeds have been more than adequate. The WIFI connections are available throughout the grounds, and we haven't had any problem working from the trailer, outside, or even in some of the pavilion areas.
The second issue we were worried about was space, luckily the new trailer has a few more spaces for everyone to maneuver into. Our typical setup (when both Mom and Dad are working and at least one person has a meeting) is to have Remy on the bed with his toys or a book, whoever doesn't have a meeting sitting at the dining table, and then whoever is in a meeting gets to stand in the bathroom. Mom constructed a desk in the closet out of our sink cover that works surprisingly well. Luckily neither of us have to be on camera with any regularity, so no one is getting an outstanding view of our shower.
Remy kicked off his week with Elisabet by joining her pre-school for a field trip to the police and fire station. What a day to drop by! All of the kids wore their costumes, but Remy held off. He wanted to save his outfit for trick-or-treating.
After the field trip Remy came back to the trailer for a nap. Post nap we headed to Linnea and Chris's new neighborhood (they haven't moved in yet) for pizza and trick or treating at one of their neighbors's house. After a quick bite everyone donned their costume and we were off! This was Remy's first trick or treating session and the first few houses he was a bit apprehensive. Luckily he had a few experienced princess to look to for guidance. The neighborhood we were in had all of the houses nice and close together, resulting in a very high candy to steps ratio. We were able to fill up two buckets of candy (probably enough to get us to next Halloween) before the toddlers started to lose steam. We said goodnight to Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead (Chris and Linnea) and headed back to the trailer, already dreading tomorrow's sugar hangover.
