Road Trip Remy Rides Again pt. 15

We got up lickety split on Sunday because we had a very full day of activities planned. First up was a trip to Boxcar coffee in Boulder for our caffeine fix. The line was eeeeenormous, but it was very tasty. We got four different coffee drinks and six different pastries. We were well fueled!

Our next stop was the El Dorado park for a nice long hike. We chose the Rattlesnake Gulch trail and started a long climb up up up. At the top we got a grand view of the continental divide. This hike, unlike some of our previous hikes, had decent cover from the trees so we weren't exposed to the sun. It was quite rocky though so we had to be doubly careful about footing.

On the way back down we stopped a few times to watch the climbers. See if you can spot them in the pictures below!
After our hiking adventure we stopped by the store for groceries. Then it was back to the trailer for some napping. Dad took the opportunity to pop over to the local boardgame store. It was very exciting.

For dinner drive about 20 minutes south to meet our friends Jonah and Rose for dinner. We had a quick drink at Odd13 brewing beforehand. They had a nice fenced-in patio where Remy ran around in circles giggling maniacally. Apparently he needed more napping.

For dinner we went to Stem Ciderworks. We aren't usually big cider drinkers but they had some very unique options. Jonah had a Chile Guava cider and Dad had a Salted Cucumber cider. Both were tasty, not very sweet, and just a little bubbly. We had a very nice evening but eventually had to say goodbye so that we could all go home and fall asleep immediately. Apparently hiking 1000 ft uphill in the sun all day makes you tired. Who knew.
