We woke up to an overcast sky with more clouds than we had seen in at least a month. Post breakfast Dad headed to work and then Mom and Remy went into Newport to check out the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. Remy reported the wax museum portion to be a little spooky (a common review), but he enjoyed the oddities portion.
It started to rain in the early afternoon and did not let up. Knowing that we would probably be spending more time in the trailer than usual, we decided to go out for dinner. Mom picked Clearwater and we had a very nice evening of dinner and drinks. Dad had steak and crab, Mom got black cod, and Remy earned a new nickname, Mr. Two Plates. He could probably use a third or fourth arm as well.
When we got back to the trailer it was absolutely pouring. A lot of the RV sites were flooded, but ours has stayed relatively dry. Hopefully we will get some sun breaks tomorrow.
Mom and Remy also made some friends down by the water. We tried to schedule a playdate but they were all booked out.
