Children of Dune pt. 3

We had a slow morning before eventually taking a nice stroll up the dune with the dogs. Remy harvested crusty sand while the dogs ran and played. He amassed a considerable collection but unfortunately couldn't find a buyer.

The jellyfish/plastic situation was almost completely resolved, but we were able to find a pile of it. The Internet has informed us that these creatures are called velella velella, and they periodically wash up on the beach.

After dune time we did bike practice and then some reading practice. Remy did some homework before lunch, and then we had a relaxing afternoon. Mom read her book, Remy read, colored, played Legos, and made some block shapes, and Dad futzed with the bikes.
We packed a few things up and then ordered pizza for an early dinner.

Roz has been having a standoff with a grey bunny outside of our trailer. The bunny seems unphased. He has even started copying Roz's style of laying down, likely trying to mock her.

Clint, Harvey, and Kat showed up at the same time as our pizza, so we had a quick slice and then headed to the beach for a nice walk. We stopped for ice cream on the way if course. Our nice walk was cut short but exceptionally high winds. Sand was blowing everywhere and it was hold onto your hat or lose it weather. The kids didn't enjoy this much so we decided to spend our evening at the indoor pool. There was lots of swimming, some diving for toys, and a bit of splash. We avoided all horse play as per standard pool rules.

Once everyone was showered and back in the their street clothes we reconvened back at the trailer for some drinks and board games. Maria won, as per the usual.
