Remy in the Yucatan pt. 8

Another day, and another coffee spot. Today we headed to Coffee and Bikes, where they not only serve coffee, but they also rent bikes! We passed on the bikes and just had coffee and a bit of a pre breakfast snack. Remy got an order of pancakes with Nutella. It is amazing how attentive he is to his food when chocolate is involved.

Loaded up with sweet, sweet energy we headed home for real breakfast (Remy does not have breakfast included so we normally grab him something on our walk) and then spent a lazy morning lounging around the common area at our accommodation. We had a quick lunch and Remy went to take an early nap. Linnea, Chris, and Elisabet went to town in search for some heartier fare and we planned to meet up afterwards.

Remy finished his snooze, but by then it was quite warm and Elisabeth needed to cool off. We headed out for some beach exploring and returned to the not so hidden cove that we had seen a few days ago. The tides on Isla Holbox can be very slight, most days the difference between high and low tide seems to be no more than a couple of inches. Walking into the cove and beyond required either bushwhacking or walking in the water, and having forgotten out machetes, we opted for the water. We eventually ended up at the lagoon before turning back.

We reunited with the rest of our party and tried to figure out what to have for dinner. There are a ton of options, and It can sometimes be hard to choose, especially if not everyone is feeling like eating the same thing. We eventually settled on the pizza restaurant close by, as they make good cocktails and have the taco place owned by the same folks next door. Pizza is always good!
