Dad made a quick run into to town in the morning to gather coffee supplies. Fresh beans and freshly brewed coffee were added to our stores and then it was time to hit the road. We said our goodbyes and started the long journey west. We spent the whole day driving at a respectable speed through green mountainous terrain. It was nice.
We made a quick stop in Kamloops so that Mom could get her cell phone screen repaired. She had dropped it while hiking and there was a large green bar across the front that obscured 1/3 of the screen. Once that was finished we headed onward to Vancouver where we bumped into a familiar character, Uncle Gena.
